Worldwide leading fashion house Balmain is showing up as a genuine fashion contender against other high fashion brands this current season. Balmain has merged together with the high street retailer H&M to create a fabulous capsule collection labelled “Balmain x H&M” that comprises of jewellery, jackets, menswear and womenswear, along with footwear and eclectic accessories.
The Balmain x H&M collection shows a deliberate binding of Parisian and multicultural themes. During the glittering runway launch, Parisian style beaded tops, jackets, dresses and footwear were paired with baggy style Indian trousers. This showed how popular Parisian traditions can be merged with basic Indian styles and themes for fashion effect.
Colors used include dowdy blacks, soft creams and metallic silvers, along with deep golds and purified whites.
Keeping to its fashion ethos, the distinct beading patterns that Balmain uses upon its blazers, jackets and dresses are unique and show a timeless elegance to the outfits finishing touches. Balmain proves this collection has an infinite artistic excellence by showing a multitude of beaded, sequin and Aztec genres in structured finishings.
With a cocktail of Parisian style designs and Indian themes, the look, feel and spirit of the capsule collection is something that Olivier Rousteing, creative director for Balmain, wanted the viewers to embody and the versatile supermodels definitely brought it to life.
My Balmain shopping launch experiance
Well well well were do I began. I heard that balmain would be launching its anticipated line with highstreet giant H & M on the 5th of november 2015. Having watching keeping up with the kardashians for years I sure tuned in to watch Kim kardashians epic wedding to hip hop mogul Kayne west in Paris. Kim K wore a Balmain dress at ther pre-wedding party and to tell you the truth I had an obsession with the dress since I first lay eyes on it on that very episode, yes people a love at first sight thought came to mind. I saw kendall Jenner wearing the sequin coveted blazer at an awards earlier this year. I fell in love with it straight away yet again. I love balmain's distinct and visually impressionable dresses and apparel. They are different, they stand out and look as expensive as the queens jewels! I saw Gigi hadid and kendall Jenner wearing the new balmain tops, dresses and jackets on the Balmain x H & M campaign pictures and my jaw literally dropped. They are some of the most dazzling outfit I have ever seen. So to get to the point, I didn't walk but ran to the opening of Balmain x H & M on the morning of november 5th to the sheer excitement of dozens of shoppers with credit cards out ready out to buy everything in their sights. I even had a little scatter with a women when I grabbed my desired balmain kendall sequin jacket .She tried to pinch it off me when I lay it down on the clothes rack to get out my purse. I said "sorry this is mine!". She replied in a fake way "oh I didnt realise"! How could she not see it was mine when I had my one arm over it. Cheeky devil!
