The much anticipated 2014 Victoria secret show made its
first ever debut at London’s earls court, on December 2nd. With stunning
Victoria secret angels at the get go, this year’s Victoria secret show showed a
promising manifest of glittering lingerie and oversized angel wings whilst the
show went down a treat in front of a jaw dropping crowd. Pop songstresses
Adriana Grande and Taylor swift sung and strutted down the glitter infested
catwalk and proudly held their own on stage against the Victoria secret angels.
50 of the Victoria secret supermodels arrived in London on Sunday by their own
private plane including some of their most prestigious models -Adriana Lima,
Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel. Candice describes her excitement about the
flight over to the UK. “I looked back on the plane at one point and was like,
'Oh god! Look at them all!' 50 supermodels all blow-dried and ready to go! It
was the most beautiful flight ever”. When arriving in London 47 of the supermodels
made a visit to the Victoria secret superstore on Bond Street. While posing
outside the store all of the models supported matching leather jackets, skinny
jeans, and Victoria secret t shirts whilst stopping traffic and admirers by the
minute. The Victoria secret extravaganza will air and be watched in over 190
countries around the globe so preparing for the show the girls were all on
liquid and protein diets days and weeks before the show to keep their figures
petite. Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio both wore show stopping “dream
angel fantasy bras” worth £1.2 million pounds. Adriana wore a blue topaz version
which was set in gold, covered in 10,000 diamonds and topaz’s. Alessandra wore
a red garnet version of the bra which had 5,800 garnets, diamonds and blue sapphires
across it whilst the bra was set in 18 yellow karat gold. The 2014 Victoria secret show was one of the
most celebrated events in the fashion calendar and was nothing short of a fashion
spectacle.
